The 18th CGLEM Confederation Meeting took place this year in Ohrid, North Macedonia – a truly special occasion, as it was the first time that the Grand Lodge of North Macedonia hosted such an event. With great dedication, warmth, and fraternal commitment, the Macedonian brethren provided a dignified setting and proved themselves to be outstanding hosts.
Brethren from the various countries of the Confederation gathered to present a comprehensive overview of the current situation within their respective Grand Lodges. The focus was on open dialogue concerning the state of Freemasonry in each jurisdiction, the challenges they face, and a fraternal exchange on shared perspectives and future developments. In this way, a clear picture emerged of the situation in the member countries, forming the foundation for continued cooperative efforts.

Another central part of the meeting was the planning of upcoming activities. The dates for the coming year were discussed, and it has already been confirmed that in January there will be another meeting with representatives of the C∴M∴S∴A∴ – Confederacao da Maçonaria Simbolica das Americas.
Furthermore, it was announced that the annual meeting “Path of the Light”, which will reach the milestone of its tenth edition, organized by the Lodges Pasquale del Torto and Sebezia of the G∴L∴N∴L∴M∴I∴, is scheduled to take place from May 8–10, 2026.

The 18th CGLEM Confederation Meeting in Ohrid was not only an organizational success, but also a powerful symbol of unity, brotherhood, and international cooperation. The warm atmosphere, excellent coordination, and constructive participation of all delegations made this gathering an important milestone for the Confederation – and an event that will remain in the best of memories.
